Kuroshitsuji, also known as Black Butler 黒執事, is a supernatural, comedy and mystery anime. It is based on a noble family, Phantomhive, who has a butler that serves them, Sebastion Michaels, a demon. His master is a 12 year old boy, Ciel Phantomhive, who sold his soul to Sebastion in exchange for him to stay by his side no matter what...to accomplish his goals. STORYLINE:
Detective School Q tells the story of a group of young students from Class Q of Dan Detective School (DDS), a prestigious and renowned detective academy founded by Morihiko Dan, the most famous detective in Japan, and the adventures and mysteries they unfold and solve together.
DDS:
Classes in DDS are based on the entrance test score, with A as the highest, B as the next lower, etc. It is possible for a student to be transferred to a higher class or vice versa, depending on their academic performances. However, Class Q is a special case. As the name might suggest, Class Q is for the Qualified students (i.e the specially chosen few) who are viewed as the most potential candidates for the successor of Morihiko Dan in the future. Yet, the same rules as the other classes also apply to Class Q. Any member of Class Q might get a chance to be transferred to a lower class if his/her academic performances decline. Since Class A was generally regarded as the top class of the DDS before Class Q was formed, there has been a tense rivalry between the two classes since. [ Full Review ]

High school crime fighter jimmy kudo is widely regarded as one of the top detectives in all the world. when the police are stumped one call to jimmy kudo is all it takes. but jimmey's life takes a tragic turn when two sady men dressed in black force-feed him an experimental drug... When it comes anime that keeps you guessing and forces you to look at it's plot in different ways animes such as Lain and more recently Paranoia agent come to mind. Be sure to add Higurashi to that category. Based off a popular series Doujin mystery games Higurashi no Naku Koro ni shows the events that take place in the small isolated village of Hinamizawa in June of 1983 all tied in with a bizarre series of murders that take place every year... Black Jack is an unusually well made anime, especially for its time. This anime title is about 10 years old, yet holds strong even today. The base storyline follows a mysterious surgeon that goes by the name of Doctor Black Jack. Black Jack operates outside the law and without a license to practice, yet his skills and reputation as a surgeon are almost legendary. Among other doctors, Black Jack is both respected and despised, yet for those lucky enough to be able to afford his services he is a miracle worker... [ Full Review ]
