An amazing anime, based on a manga by Watsuki Nobuhiro (creator of Rurouni Kenshin), begins when high school student Mutou Kazuki dies in the defense-of and trying to save his sister and a mysterious woman from a giant man-eating snake. He is miraculously revived by Tsumura Tokiko, the mysterious woman, through means of alchemy by inserting a “kakugane medal” in place of his heart. She also explains that the monster that he had saved her from was a homunculus, and that she belongs to a group of alchemists dedicated to destroying them. The kakugane, Tokiko explains, is an alchemical device that when activated can gives the wielder the power to fight the homunculus monster. Using this, Kazuki creates his own buso renkin, the alchemic weapon formed by the kakugane, in the form of a huge lance. Along with Tokiko and her own buso renkin, Kazuki joins the fight against the homunculus and their master... [ Full Review ]

Skip Beat!, スキップ・ビート！, is a comedy romance anime. Kyoko had followed her true love, Sho, to tokyo. They had been childhood friends and Kyoko was glad to help him reach his goal. One day, she heard Sho telling his manager he does not care for her and was only using her, Kyoko was determind to take revenge and join the show biz world. Kuroshitsuji, also known as Black Butler 黒執事, is a supernatural, comedy and mystery anime. It is based on a noble family, Phantomhive, who has a butler that serves them, Sebastion Michaels, a demon. His master is a 12 year old boy, Ciel Phantomhive, who sold his soul to Sebastion in exchange for him to stay by his side no matter what...to accomplish his goals. I have managed to watch 4 episodes of DEMONBANE while at work and so far I like it. It is action packed with small bits of comedy. The art is pretty good though I wouldn't say fantastic. The story line is... lost to me I have no clue what it is exactly that is going on except that there are ppl trying to kill other ppl and some are good and some are bad...
