Maria-Sama Ga Miteru + Maria-Sama Ga Miteru "HARU"

I haven't been watching many animes lately because I've been so busy. ANd so, being a bit behind with the so called "Whats hot" and "Whats not" I didn't know what anime to choose.
I just happened to click "Maria-Sama Ga Miteru" the description was brief but to the point and I liked the animation from the enclosed picture looked good so I checked it out.
Here I am 2 days later having barely slept because I've watched all 26 episodes from the first season and the second (Haru) season. Plus I came across the 2 new posted OVA's on youtube.

So...I can say without a doubt that "Maria-Sama Ga Miteru" is my favorite anime by a longshot! The animation is beautiful, the storylines are relevant with no silly (filler-episodes) it's a story/character based fanfiction so if you're not into romance animes that focus on specific character stories and character development this might not be for you.

I will admit the first episode or two had me so confused I almost give in. The whole rosa foetida etc... thing was a bit hard at the beginning but after a few episodes I came to like all of the characters. yes ALL.

The stand-out character for me was Sachiko-sama. she's brief and to-the-point of being stuck up and ignorant. But as Yumi said in one of the episodes from the HARU season, (comparing Sachiko to an ice cream she was eating) "She seems cold on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside" or something along those lines.

The whole relationship between Sachiko and Yumi will have you glued to your monitor (trust me I still am, I'm currently REWATCHING both seasons) On Yumi's part it was obvious she admired Sachiko from the very first moment she saw her in the first episode. But quite soon it appears that Sachiko may have feelings for Yumi too. Getting angry when people touch her, and constantly telling her off too boldly, very clear signals!!

So you can go with my biased opinion and check it out or just think I'm siding with an anime that I'm currently (unnaturally) addicted to. It can't be healthy.

You'll love the storylines
You'll love the characters (especially Sachiko! ^.^)
You'll love the pretty (and sometimes quite detailed) animation
You'll love "Maria-Sama Ga Miteru!!!!"
