Romance Anime Reviews: Wedding Peach

Wedding PeachThis anime series strikes me as a Sailor Moon knock off, all the way down to the outfits and bad guys. The only real difference between the two is simply the names and lack of action in the fighting sequences. Think of this as an anime that anyone any age can watch and you start to get a feel for what I mean. Just like in Sailor Moon, there are a few girls that transform into sailor looking outfits, but called Love Angels. They fight the enemies of love called devils, sound familiar. Each girl has there own little sailor looking outfit along with either a baton, wand, or scepter. Even the colors of their outfits make you want to say "Sailor Venus, Sailor Mercury..." you get the picture. The complexity of the stories lies with a young boy who is in love with the lead Love Angel Momoko. The young boy has a contract with a devil that entitles him to certain powers, but at the same time makes him an enemy of the Love Angels. In my opinion, this anime is a very unoriginal copycat version of Sailor Moon, down to almost every detail. Just change the names around and add a few different little details...and poof...you've got a new anime series called Wedding Peach. The animation itself was again almost identical to Sailor Moon, so you know what to expect there. The sound, music, voice acting, etc...almost the same as Sailor Moon. I would personally suggest just watching Sailor Moon if this anime series sounds interesting, you'll get more for your dollar.
