Kaleido StarKaleido Star is story about a sixteen year old girl named Sora who has dreamed of joining the Kaliedo Stage circus ever since she first saw them as a little girl. Now at age sixteen she leaves Japan to audition for the Kaleido Stage, and finds trouble before she even reaches the front door. While speaking briefly to someone on her way to the audition, a man tries to steal her bag and takes off running. Her gymnastics training and lack of fear become instantly evident as she sprints after the thief on inline skates, avoiding cars, people and ending the chase with an acrobatic move off of an awning and onto the thief's back. Unbenounced to young Sora, the director of the Kaleido Stage watches the entire event unfold. A moment afterward, she finds herself at the police station running out of time for her audition. Finally after convincing the police that she is not a runaway, and is indeed here to audition for the Kaleido Stage, she is finally given a lift to her audition just to find out she's too late. One thing leads to another and eventually she gets a chance on the Kaleido Stage. The animation in the title is fantastic, very well done. The voice overs are also quite well done. The sound and music are good enough to present the atmosphere of this anime title. I recommend this anime title to all fans of drama anime, this is a fun and easy to watch series.
