Genocyber: The CollectionGenocyber is a timeless anime title with a rich storyline and plot. The storyline starts in current times and spans into the far future. Genocyber is the story of two sisters who were genetically created, one of whom is paralyzed from the waist down and another which lacks the ability to speak, yet possesses almost supernatural psychic potential. The paralyzed sister works directly with a scientist who creates an android like body for her, all the while sending her out to do his bidding. The other sister runs in the streets, with her new found friend, a young homeless boy. The cybernetic sister is asked to retrieve her more powerful counterpart, but when she realizes that her sister is more powerful that she is, she tries to kill her. Eventually, the more powerful sister gives up her physical body to exist as pure thought and energy in body of her sister. Now, the two sisters exist in one mind and one physical body. The body being mostly cybernetic and harnessing such great power, becomes easily changable by the more powerful sister. When the more psychic sister becomes enraged, the power of the Genocyber is unleashed and nothing can stop it. This anime title is extremely graphic and gory. The full Genocyber collection is a fantastic addition to anime fan of the science fiction anime genre. It's monstrous visions, depth of storyline and beautiful animation make it one of my favorite anime titles. The sound and voiceovers are great, as is the theme music. In fact, if you're an anime fan, you've probably already heard the Genocyber theme song played, and didn't even realized it. The characters are great, and are developed over time without any need to show a lengthy character flashback. I highly recommend this anime to all fans of the horror or science fiction anime genre.
