Elemental GeladeElemental Gelade is a simply spectacular Anime. It is the perfect fusion of Action, Comedy, Adventure, and most certainly Romance. The animation quality is amazing, and the characters are very loveable. A boy is in line to become the next leader of a band of sky pirates, when he accidentally awakens a young girl from a deep slumber. It turns out she is an Edel Raid. An Edel Raid is a girl with a crystal-like shard embedded somewhere her body, and they have the ability to merge (or “React”)with someone to make a very powerful weapon. In the world of Gahdia, Edel Raid are very rare. However, this particular Edel Raid is extremely rare, because she is a legendary Shikouhouju. The characters face numerous hardships all in order to fulfill the young Edel Raid’s wish. Overall the Animation is amazing, and the storyline sucks you in and holds you until the very end. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Hi, Applesauce.
Elemental Gelade sounds rather like "Castle in the Sky," by Miyazaki. Is it? It has sky-pirates (yay!) and a girl with a crystal, after all. What do you think?
