Mermaid Forest, Bitter Flesh
it is interesting, though i have only seen four episodes. the names i have put are names of episodes 3-5. in the anime a legend is used, and old legend about if you eat mermaid flesh you turn imortal and cannot die. but most of the time you will turn into something called a deformed one which will live forever but will lose all senses and act like a wild beast. Mana and her friend are just about over 500 yrs old and are still kickin. These two counter many things that bring them closer.
