Munto 2Two years have passed since the catastrophic event known as the "Continent's Dropping" from the first Munto. Yumemi still has not forgotten her ability to see the world above, but now she's in the last years of middle school, tests and real life take over. Unknown to the people of the world, Akuto the world still thrives, but the war rages on. In need of help, Gaz, sends Munto down into Earth once more to find the "Girl of Destiny" in order to save Heaven from its ultimately demise. Yumemi must once confront the only world she sees, and not even her friends Ichiko and Suzune can help her.
The animation in this title is superb, top notch by anyone's standards. The storyline itself is also very intriguing. Both the music and voice acting are also done extremely well. The characters involved in this story are very interesting and well done. Unfortunately this title ends where it should really start to get going. The entire movie builds up to the final moment which is a bit of a let down. It leaves you with the feeling of, what just happened, there has to be more. I was really disappointed due to how amazing this title was until the end. I recommend this title to those who absolutely loved the first Munto and want to find out what happened afterward. For all others, you can enjoy the amazing animation and effects at face value, but the ending will leave you unfulfilled.
