A very original concept and breathtaking animation brings this dark story to life. Otokoyo is a game of hide and seek unlike any ever played before. Following the lit characters that spell out Otokoyo through the dark streets of their town, children can play a very special game of hide and seek. In Otokoyo the children who are caught, are taken away by demons. Hikora, a young boy joins this game in hopes of finding his sister who is said to have disappeared playing Otokoyo. Eventually finding his way to Otokoyo square, he finds eight other children and the game begins... [ 
Modern day presentation of vampires has gotten droll and repetitive: They're always daywalkers, bleeding-hearts, and have minimal if any use for blood. Holy items? Forget it. But Blood goes back to a classical vampire setting to give us a breather from the stifling romantic vampires, while at the same time giving a twist: Vampires being beastial, demonic creatures. When we talk about fits of rage over blood, we MEAN it... [ 
Set in 15th Century Sweden, Hope, the beautiful daughter of Matthias, believed to be a skilled mercenary, but who in actuality is Lucifer, the Lord of Lies, is accused of being the devil�s consort following a hellish incident witnessed by local villagers. Ultimately, Hope is sentenced by the town priest to be burned at the stake. Writhing in pain and unable to think clearly, she accepts Lucifer's offer of life in Hell, presented by the malevolent Pagan, over a hideously painful death. Lucifer's grand plan to corrupt a soul of pure innocence meets unanticipated resistance, as Hope rejects Lucifer's scheme and eventually, transformed into the powerful warrior Lady Death, challenges the Lord of Lies for control of Hell itself. I liked this anime, but I wasn't thrilled about it... [ 
Devil Man is a fanatastic anime title that unfortunately leaves us with only two episodes to watch. The storyline follows a young high school kid named Akira who is contacted by his long lost friend Ryo. Ryo who is acting completely different from the last time Akira had seen him, asks Akira for his help. Ryo then tells of how his father, an archaeologist, when mad shortly after finding an artifact. This artifiact allows people to see into the hell realm, but also allows the hell realm to find the person looking into hell. Akira soon learns that demons roam the Earth, and from that point on Ryo's life will never be the same. He agrees to help Akira, only to find out that he is to be used as bait at a bloody sabbath, which invokes demons into peoples physical body. Soon after Akira becomes possessed, he takes control of the power that the demon has, becoming Devil Man... [
