Skip Beat!, スキップ・ビート！, is a comedy romance anime. Kyoko had followed her true love, Sho, to tokyo. They had been childhood friends and Kyoko was glad to help him reach his goal. One day, she heard Sho telling his manager he does not care for her and was only using her, Kyoko was determind to take revenge and join the show biz world. Finally, she had been 'kind of' accepted to an entertainment, she meets the enemy of Sho, Ren, who is cold to her at first, and slowly, more secrets about him is revealed. [ Full Review ]

This anime just so happened to be my first anime to watch ever. I loved it from the first episode that I watched, I searched everywhere for the remaining episodes that I had not seen. I was a bit sad when I learned there was only 24 episodes (25 if you include the one on the Love Hina Christmas Special). The characters in the anime made me smile non-stop and made me the anime-fanatic that I am today... [ Full Review ]

I love this anime; it's one of those high-school related anime with everyday situations, only making them look more bizarre and hilarious. The plot focuses mainly on an ordinary 2nd year high school student called Tsukamoto Tenma's (take note I’m writing the names in the Japanese way, so her first name is Tenma) problem, which is the fact that she is in love with one of her classmates...
